History
Company founder, Andy Greene, developed his interest in building as a Peace Corps volunteer in the North African country of Tunisia. Outside of the capital, Tunis, he designed and built his own residence using traditional masonry construction techniques. It was a self-help housing program.

After returning to the US, Andy continued his passion for construction by working for a local builder, Steve Taylor, in the Thousand Islands Region of New York State. He feels very fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from such an accomplished builder. Here he learned the valuable skills needed for starting his own company.
Greene Structures was established in 2000 as a family-owned building company with a focus on high quality construction and environmentally friendly building practices. This includes the use of recycled building material in addition to integrating new construction with sustainable energy resources such as solar and wind energy.

A dedication to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction has enabled Greene Structures to grow rapidly. We look forward to continued growth in the upcoming years.
